Carter Group Electronics Division designs and manufactures proprietary electronic control modules for the automotive and large run consumer markets. Due to our growth we are currently seeking a: Director of Engineering Exceptionally organized with the proven capabilities of managing, organizing and mentoring a team of Electrical, Mechanical and Test Engineering staff. Specifically responsible for development activities for existing and new products from concept to prototype to full production. Develop and implement methods and procedures for monitoring projects such as the preparation of records of expenditures, research findings, process reports, etc. Inform management of project status and to optimize manufacturing process, negotiate contracts with consulting firms. Mandatory requirements for this position include a minimum Bsc in Electrical Engineering, 10–15 years experience in Analog/Power Technology Design and Development with 5 or more years at a Manager or Director level in a Module/Supply/System Power design and Development Company. Component/Reliability Engineer This entry-level position will be responsible for the verification of process/process audit according to the Control Plan, Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA and audit documents, in addition to providing continuous improvement to the QMS and reliability program planning and implementation. Mandatory requirements for this position include a Degree in Physics/Electrical Engineering, with 3 – 5 years experience in Quality/Manufacturing Engineering in the automotive or closely related technology. Analysis and mathematical modeling of reliability data, combined with knowledge of FMEA, FTA, reliability prediction and statistical process controls also required.
