Mechanical

• Design and develop mechanical assembly and component solid models and drawings using CAD software (Unigraphics NX and Solid Works)
• Optimize components with Design for Manufacturing / Assembly (DFM/DFA) concepts
• Design assembly components for Thermoplastic injection molding processes and Ferrous & non-Ferrous metal manufacturing processes (Stampings, Extrusions, Die Castings, Cold Forming, etc)
• Perform Tolerance Stackup analysis and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing to ASME Y19.5-1994
• Control of supplier tooling development to ensure customer and design specific requirements are achieved.
